Guess I've always liked the outlaw songwriter mentality, from Willie, Waylon and Billy Joe Shaver to Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark and Ray Wylie Hubbard. It seems like folks that listen to my songs and other songwriters as well say that I'm a storyteller. I suppose they're right. I've always loved a good story. Maybe I've painted a few word pictures and told some stories you might enjoy and remember. Anyway, that's what I set out to do with my new CD 'OUTLAW TROUBADOURS'.
