The High Tension Wires qualify as a genuine TX punk rock supergroup with Mike Weibe (Riverboat Gamblers, Chop Sakis) on vocals, Mark Ryan (Marked Men, Riverboat Gamblers, Reds) on guitar, Chris Pulliam (Reds) on bass, and Jeff Burke (Marked Men, Reds, Chop Sakis) on Drums. Blistering punk and ragged lo-fi bashed out at maximum velocity from start to finish. Falls somewhere between the members' main bands, and the great 90's garage punk and pop sounds of bands like Scared of Chaka, Motards, New Bomb Turks.
