I Love Boosters

Tune-Yards, aka Merrill Garbus and Nate Brenner, provide the score for Boots Riley's 'I Love Boosters'. Regular collaborators with the director, the duo created music designed to reflect the film's unpredictable characters and antic storytelling. They describe the score as sounding like 'three different bands scoring the same film', moving between contrasting ideas while remaining firmly rooted in Riley's eccentric world. Tune-Yards call it some of the wildest and most far-reaching music they've composed, with Riley pushing them towards the outer edges of their creativity.
