Product description THE COLOUR FIELD were formed during the Summer of 1983 by former Specials and Fun Boy Three vocalist, Terry Hall along with ex- Swinging Cats organist Toby Lyons, and bassist Karl Shale. The band released only two albums ('Virgins and Philistines' 1985, and 'Deception' 1987) and seven singles during 3 year period together. From the eponymous 'The Colour Field' in January 1984 to a cover of The Monkees 'She' in 1987, with the UK the hit single 'Thinking of You' . This 96 track Box Set includes 42 previously unreleased tracks and brings together two album and their B-Sides and Remixes, newly remastered from the original master tapes. 2CDs full of unreleased demos, outtakes and live concerts. Along with a DVD with all their promo videos and BBC TV performances. This is packaged in a DVD sized mediabook, with newly conducted interview by John Earls (Classic Pop/Record Collector) with Toby Lyons, Karl Shale and archival interviews with Terry Hall, along with previously unseen photographs and memorabilia.
