Along with Ana Da Silva, bassist and singer Gina Birch co-founded influential experimentalists The Raincoats at the height of punk in 1977. 'I Play My Bass Loud' is her first ever solo album, featuring the 2021 single 'Feminist Song' and guest contributions from Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore.
