Fairytale Operas

Collection of three operas based on fairy tales. Colin Davis conducts the Orchestra and Chorus of the Royal Opera House in the 2008 performance of Humperdinck's 'Hänsel und Gretel' starring Angelika Kirchschlager and Diana Damrau in the title roles. Vladimir Jurowski conducts the London Philharmonic and the Glyndebourne Chorus in their 2012 performance of Janácek's 'The Cunning Little Vixen' starring Lucy Crowe and Emma Bell. Finally, David Parry conducts the Orchestra and Chorus of Opera North in their 2008 performance of 'The Adventures of Pinocchio' by Jonathan Dove.
