Three ballet performances by choreographer Kader Belarbi. 'Le Corsaire' is performed by the Orchestre National du Capitole and conducted by David Coleman with the the lead roles of the Corsair and the Slave-girl performed by Davit Galstyan and Maria Gutierrez. 'La Bête et la Belle' is Belarbi's interpretation of the classic fairy tale 'Beauty and the Beast'. The dancers of the Ballet du Capitole include Takafumi Watanabe as The Beast and Julie Loria as Beauty. 'La Reine Morte' is set to compositions by Tchaikovksy and loosely based on the play by Montherlant with the story following the Prince of Portugal Don Pedro (Galstyan) who falls in love with his intended wife's lady-in-waiting, Dona Ines de Castro (Gutierrez).
