In 'La Fille mal gardée' (2005), conducted by Anthony Twiner, Acosta performs the role of Colas with the rest of the cast including Marianela Nuñez, William Tuckett and Jonathan Howells. Boris Gruzin conducts the Royal Ballet Sinfonia in 'Romeo and Juliet' (2007) in which Acosta and Tamara Rojo star as the eponymous characters. In 'Don Quixote' (2013) Christopher Saunders performs the titular role with Acosta as Basilio. Martin Yates leads the Royal Opera House Orchestra.
