Robi Botos is Canada's best known young jazz pianist and the final protégé of jazz legend Oscar Peterson. Movin' Forward features an exciting mixture of originals, standards and some original ballads inspired by Robi's Romani heritage. Movin' Forward is Robi's second album for A440/Universal and features a DREAM TEAM band of Jeff 'Tain' Watts on drums, Robert Hurst on bass, and Seamus Blake on saxophones. All are Grammy Award winning/nominated musicians. Jeff and Robert formed the rhythm section for the legendary groups of both Wynton and Branford Marsalis.
