Le Nozze Di Figaro

The memorable performance of Mozart's popular opera Le nozze di Figaro from the State Opera Under the Linden in Berlin was the first official release of Arthaus Music in 2000. Thomas Langhoff staged the work a spiritual satire about the triangular relationships of protagonists Susanna, Figaro and Count Almaviva. The first-class singer ensemble featuring Dorothea Röschmann as Susanna, René Pape as Figaro, Emily Magee in the role of the Countess Almaviva and Peter Schreier as her husband, to name only a few of them is under the musical director of Daniel Barenboim, who is the chief conductor of the State Opera in 200000000. The production was cheered by the specialist press and the audience as a true "feast of voice".
