Jahrhunderts. Der hervorragende italienische Bass Gabriele Lombardi ist einer der führenden Sänger dieses Repertoires und u.a. langjähriges Mitglied des gefeierten Concerto Italiano unter Rinaldo Alessandrini.



A selection of until now unpublished baroue cantatas for low voice and basso continuo from the italian city of Bologna, a center of main importance for the development of the music of the XVII and XVIII Century. The program is completed by a Cello Sonata by Gabrielli, one of the most ancient example for solo music for cello. The outstanding italian Bass Gabriele Lombardi is one of the leading singer of this repertoire and long time member of Concerto Italiano under Rinaldo Alessandrini.
