Der italienische Lautenist Massimo Lonardi und sein ehemaliger Schüler Domenico Cerasani wollen mit ihrem Programm die folkloristischen Wurzeln der italienischen Renaissancemusik offenlegen. Zu hören sind größtenteils Stücke für zwei Lauten, mitunter ergänzt durch die wunderbare mediterrane Stimme von Renata Fusco, die dem Hörer ein echtes Eintauchen in die Atmosphäre der Renaissance ermöglicht.



The italian lutenist Massimo Lonardi and his former student Domenico Cerasani present a program about the popular roots of the Italian Renaissance music. Most of the recordings includes pieces for two lutes, sometimes accompanying the wonderful mediterranean voice of Renata Fusco, offering to the listener a real immersion in the mood of the Renaissance.
