New "live" album features an audio CD recorded live at a concert in Gateshead on Tyne, UK in February 2008, plus a DVD of the acclaimed "Song For Geordie" tour (Jez and band, plus special guests, in an evening of music from their native North-East England, augmented by archive footage and photographs. This new album comes hot on the heels of Jezs recent nomination as "Folksinger of the Year" (BBC Folk Awards), and his last CD, Jack Commons Anthem, nominated as Album Of The Year in the Indie-Acoustic Project awards. Havingwritten some of the most popular new folk songs of the last 20 years (Fairport Convention, Tannahill Weavers, The Dubliners, etc), Jez delves deeply into his back catalogue, revisiting many songs from his early albums.
