Pandemonaeon's third album on Trance Jam Records features Middle-Eastern & Gothic tinged metal/rock ranging from the hard-hitting Eater of Sorrow and Lover's Pardon to the darkly haunting Hunter and the epic Chalice & Blades. Dangerous Beauty incorporates such folk instruments as violin, oud, saz, mandocello, flute, and others. Due to it's Middle Eastern and goth influence, Sharon has described their sound as 'music for bellydancers in combat boots.' Joining Sharon and Winter on Dangerous Beauty are Caith Threefires on bass, Gari Hegedus (from Stellamara, on violin and mandocello), Paul Nordin on extreme vocals, Tina "Bean" Blaine (D'Cuckoo) on percussion, Mark Abbott on drums, as well as Early music stars Tim Rayborn (harmony vocals, oud, saz, dumbek) and Stephen Schultz (baroque flute). Different versions of 2 songs from this album (Chalice & Blades and Well of Lost Voices) were used in the 2008 bellydance instructional video 'Dark Imaginations' by Anaar. The terse punk ditty The Goat is on the Pole was previously used in the 2009 feature film 'The Commune' by Elisabeth Fies.
