An evening celebrating the Celtic Christmas tradition of welcoming strangers to your hearth; to warm themselves not just by the fire, but sharing the warmth of family. This Christmas, the MacMaster Leahy Family are opening their doors and inviting us to be a part of their holiday celebration. Recorded before a live audience in Dec 2018, this concert is truly an unforgettable evening of Christmas music, dance and storytelling. The entertainment world is filled with extraordinary stories, but few match the beguiling true-life tale of Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy, Canadas reigning couple of Celtic music who have sold more than 400,000 albums between them. Their dazzling career achievements as globally-loved fiddle players underpin an incomparable off-stage life. The MacMaster Leahy Family has multiple Canadian music awards among them: three Artist of the Year awards from the East Coast Music Association, five Juno Awards, and one Canadian Country Music Association Award. Music has always been and always should be an important part of the season. For Donnell and I, Christmas has always given us beautiful moments and memories. And now as parents, we hope to help create the same for our children in our own way.
