Released in 2015, 'Polaris' marked a quiet shift for TesseracT - their third album, their first with Kscope & the return of original vocalist Daniel Tompkins. His presence brought focus. Instead of chasing scale, the band explored contrast: dense grooves set against clean vocals, sharp turns softened by space & melody. Tracks like 'Tourniquet' & 'Phoenix' ease into motion, while 'Messenger' hits harder but with restraint. 'Polaris' builds tension not by force, but by control.
