The Drays are the new band featuring Stephen Ryan. Their debut album 'Look Away Down Collins Avenue' was released in June 2015 to wide critical acclaim achieving album of the week in both the Irish Times and Irish Independent newspapers. The Drays sees Ryan's rekindle his musical relationship with guitarist Conor Brady (The Blades, Toots & The Maytals, The Revenants). Brady produced the album playing both guitar and bass throughout. Paul Byrne was also in Deaf Actor with Brady but went on to form In Tua Nua with violinist Steve Wickham (The Waterboys) and others including the wonderful Leslie Dowdall. Since then Byrne ran a small studio and has played with various artists and was a member of Pogue's legend Shane MacGowan's most recent band The Shane Gang.
