'Lighten Up' is the second album that Nashville-based singer-songwriter Erin Rae has released since she set aside the moniker The Meanwhiles in the late 2010s. Featuring guest appearances from Meg Duffy (a.k.a. Hand Habits) and Kevin Morby, Rae has taken a personal and confident direction on this self-effacing collection.
