Plankton Wat ist das Solo-Projekt von Dewey Mahood, ehemals von Eternal Tapestry. Er gehört zu den vielseitigsten und umtriebigsten Künstlern der modernen Psychedelic-Underground Szene. Er spielte auch bei Gärden Söund (w/Barn Owl), Edibles, Bloodbiker und Jackie-O Motherfucker. Die Anfänge von Plankton Wat gehen bis ins Jahr 2002 zurück, wo er experimentale Songs auf CD-R und Kassette in limitierten Stückzahlen über Labels wie Stunned, Digitalis oder Sloow Tapes veröffentlichte. Sein Albumdebüt erschien dann 2009 bei DNT. Sein zweites Album für Thrill Jockey enthält Gastbeiträge von Dustin Dybvig (Horse Feathers & Edibles), Matt McDowell (Sagas) und John Rau (Royal Baths & Edibles). Die CD-Version erscheint als 4-Panel Mini-LP Style Klappcover.
