Smilin' Through: The Singles Collection 1936-1947

Nadat JSP een schot in de roos gedaan heeft met de veel geroemde box Lost Tracks (JSPCD 965) volgt nu een nieuwe set met opnames van deze populaire zangeres annex actrice. Op deze vier cds staan alle singles die ze tussen 1936 en 1947 voor Decca maakte, inclusief alle alternate takes. Zeven daarvan zijn nooit eerder op cd verschenen. Het is de eerste keer dat al haar singles bijeengebracht zijn en dan ook nog in zulke goede geluidskwaliteit: voer voor fans!
