De Amerikaan Paul Weston (pianist, componist, arrangeur en bandleider) behoort tot de groten uit de entertainmentwereld. Zijn carriÞre reikt vanaf de jaren dertig, toen hij voor het toentertijd zeer populaire Joe Haymes Orchestra werkte, tot zijn laatste shows met zijn vrouw Jo Stafford in de jaren zeventig.
