Devil's Jump

Schrijver Neil Slaven is een erkend autoriteit op het gebied van blues en de samensteller van talloze prachtige boxen op het JSP-label. Ook deze boxset is van zijn hand. Hij is in zijn eigen archief gedoken en heeft een ongelooflijke collectie indie-blues uit de jaren 40 en 50 bijeengebracht, afkomstig uit Cincinnati en uitgebracht op King Records en zusje Queen Records. Naast legendes als John Lee Hooker en Memphis Slim staan er ook volkomen obscure artiesten als Detroit Count en Walter Mitchell op. Maar liefst twintig tracks zijn nooit eerder op cd verschenen.
