Roy Gaines was een protÚgÚ van de legendarische T-Bone Walker. De elektrische Texas-blues van Gaines maakte hem al tot een veelgevraagd sideman, maar ook als bandleider staat hij zijn mannetje. Geproduceerd door Jimmy Morello brengt Gaines ons stevige gitaarblues van de bovenste plank. Dit is een gloednieuwe mix van de originele Pacifica Studio multitrack- tapes en volgens labelbaas John Stedman " sharper, harder and better than the original from 1998".
