Clarence Hollimon speelde gitaar bij Bobby Bland in zijn hoogtijdagen. Hollimons jazzy blueslicks waren toen een voorbeeld voor veel gitaristen. Zangeres Carol Fran behaalde haar succes ook in de jaren 60. In de jaren 80 ontmoetten ze elkaar, trouwden en namen gezamenlijk cds op. Deze cd onder de productionele leiding van Jimmy Morello laat horen dat kwaliteit zich niet verloochent. De uithalen van Fran komen nog steeds uit haar tenen en de gitaarlicks zijn nog steeds aangrijpend in al hun schijnbare eenvoud.
