Tijdens het produceren van deze set merkte John Stedman van JSP Records op: "the reason this music is so tough it's played by tough old bastards". Hound Dog Taylor en The HouseRockers (Hound Dog op slidegitaar, Brewer Phillips op gitaar en Ted Harvey op drums) waren inderdaad stoer, zowel op als naast het podium. Taylor zelf merkte op over zijn gitaarspel: "When I die, they'll say `he couldn't play shit, but he sure made it sound good'". Dubbel-cd met een 12 pagina's dik boekje.
