Rock N' Roll School for Girls

In het begin van de jaren tachtig behoorden The Catholic Girls tot de eerste van de volledig vrouwelijke New Wave-bands die door grote labels (in hun geval MCA Records) werden getekend. De band was de belichaming van het onverwachte: ze zagen er door hun schooluniformen uit als een meidengroep, en soms klonken ze zelfs zo, om vervolgens uit te pakken met een verpletterende track als "God Made You for Me". De drie groepsleden beheersten hun instrumenten en diverse popstijlen als geen ander!
