Big Walter Horton behoort, samen met Little Walter en Sonny Boy Williamson, tot de grootste mondhamonikaspelers aller tijden. JSP pakt uit met een 3-cd box die alle aspecten van deze muzikant aan bod laat komen. Op CD 1 horen we hem solo en als bandleider in de jaren 50, op de tweede cd speelt hij met o.a. Joe Hill Louis, Johnny Shines en Sunnyland Slim. Met name in de combi met Shines is Horton op zijn allerbest. De derde cd, een bonus, is een liveplaat van JSP die nooit op cd verschenen is. Een voorbeeldige set die niet alleen de grote fans een plezier zal doen.
