Clara Ann Fowler zou onder de naam Patti Page de best verkopende vrouwelijke zangeres in de jaren 50 worden. Ze begon haar carriÞre met haar eigen radiostation in Tulsa met country-ge´nspireerde songs maar werd steeds breder in haar aanpak. In 1950 scoorde ze een paar monsterhits: With My Eyes Wide Open I'm Dreaming, All My Love en The Tennessee Waltz.
