One of These Mornings

Een welkome aanvulling op het beschikbare repertoire van deze veel te vroeg gestorven blueszanger/gitarist uit Monticello, Mississippi. Deze opnames uit 1962 zijn reeds eerder bij JSP op lp verschenen. Als solo-artiest of samen met Willie Dixon (op acht nummers) en drummer Fred Below (op een nummer) werden zestien nummers opgenomen. Met zijn hoge huilerige stem wist Lenoir een geheel eigen stijl te creÙren die nog altijd weet te boeien. Een mooi document.
