KOM MEK WI WORSHIP! Is a call to all speakers of Jamaican Creole to worship God in song using the heart language and heart music of Jamaica. Most of the songs were inspired by the Scriptures translated into Jamaican Creole/patwa by the Bible Society of the West Indies in collaboration with Wycliffe Bible Translators Caribbean and the Jamaica Language Unit at the University of the West Indies, Mona. Produced in this our Jubilee year of Independence as a nation, Kom Mek Wi Worship! Is a direct response to the call to SING A NEW SONG JAMAICA!
