Old Tyme Modern

Herb Hall komt uit een muzikale familie uit New Orleans, zijn broer Edmund was bijvoorbeeld een zeer bekende klarinettist. Herb speelde o.a. bij Eddie Condon en The Jazz Ginays. Tijdens een tour in 1969 inToronto nam hij deze cd op , met een all-star-kwartet bestaande uit Claude Hopkins, Arvell Shaw en Buzzy Drootin. De cd is geremastered vanaf de originle tapes.
