'Sally Go Round The Sun' is a collection of songs and rhymes to use through the day and 'Sally Go Round The Moon' is a selection of Quiet songs and lullabies to soothe your baby all through the night. Kathy is joined by a stellar cast of musicians including Ken, Chris and Ben Whiteley, Anne Lederman, Anne Lindsay, Arnie and Hannah Naiman, Mary Colmer, Debbie Carroll, Bucky Berger, Dennis Pendrith and William Carn. Both of these recordings were produced by Ken Whiteley whose production credits include Raffi, Fred Penner, Nancy Cassidy, Debbie Carroll and many, many others. M0703 Review: Kathy Reid-Naiman's latest CD, Sally Go Round the Moon, is a collection of quiet songs and lullabies. Beginning with the Ostrovsky/Botting classic 'May There Always Be Sunshine' Reid-Naiman wins over young listeners with her clear, gentle voice and light instrumentation. She continues with several classic songs such as 'My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean,' and 'You Are My Sunshine,' as well as some traditional tunes from various cultures, including 'Tall Trees' (Austrailian Aboriginal), 'Land of the Silver Birch' (Canadian), 'Babushka Baio' (Russian), and 'Big Moon Bright Moon' (Appalachian). Reid-Naiman also covers some nice songs by fellow label mates Debbie Carroll ('Up and Over the Moon') and Ken Whiteley ('Go to Sleep').
