"The Mask And Mirror" hat mittlerweile mehr als zwei Millionen Exemplare weltweit verkauft und wurde 1995 mit dem Juno Award for Best Roots/Traditional Album ausgezeichnet. Es erstreckt sich über spanische, keltische und marokkanische Einflüsse und folgt Inspirationswegen von Irland bis Santiago de Compostella. Enthalten sind musikalische Einstellungen von Gedichten von St. John Of The Cross und Shakespeare, sowie eklektische, reich strukturierte Originale, darunter ein verführerisch dramatischer "The Mystic's Dream" (wie im Paramount Pictures Film "Jade") und "Marrakesh Night Market". -Das Album wurde komplett überarbeitet und enthält einen mehrsprachigen Weblink. Ebenfalls enthalten ist eine zusätzliche DVD mit dem Loreena McKennitt Dokumentarfilm No Journeys End und den Videos "The Bonny Swans" und "The Mummers' Dance" gemischt in 5.1-Sound.

DAS LABEL ÜBER DIE CD
Der gesamte Backkatalog von Loreena Mckennitt wurde remastert und eine ca. 30 minütige Bonus-DVD inkl. der Dokumentation "No journey's end" den Videos zu "The bonny swans" und "The mummer's dance" im 5.1 Sound wurde dem gesamten Backkatalog beigefügt. Die einzige Ausnahme ist hier das Album "Live in Paris", welches bereits einen derart hohen Soundstandard besitzt, dass es nicht remastert werden musste. Die anderen sieben Backkatalog Alben sind jedoch alle remastert und werden sicherlich hochinteressant für jeden Loreena Mckennitt Sammler.
