30th Anniversary Celebration: The Best of Live

Toen de leden van Brass Monkey in de jaren 80 hun groep oprichtten waren ze niets minder dan een sensatie vanwege de ongebruikelijke combinatie van Britse folk met koperblazers. De band werd zelfs met argwaan bekeken. De grondleggers (onder wie Martin Carthy en John Kirkpatrick) hadden echter al snel het publiek aan hun zijde en diverse cds volgden. Ter gelegenheid van de 30e verjaardag is de band uitgebreid met 2 extra leden tot 6 en toert nu door Engeland. Deze cd is live opgenomen, de dvd idem en bevat behalve een extra track ook nog een retrospectief waarin John en Martin vertellen over het ontstaan van de band, aangevuld met fotos en fragmenten.
