In de jaren 80, toen Steeleye Span vrijwel uit elkaar viel na het succes van de single All Around My Hat, zette Maddy een hele nieuwe groep op, die veel meer popgericht was. Met deze band bracht ze twee cds uit, Hooked On Winning en Going For Glory, die nu samengebracht zijn. Onder de bandleden vinden we o.a. Mick Dyche (Sniff n The Tears) en Gary Wilson (een legendarische Australische drummer in de jaren 70). Zelfs Annie Lennox is in n nummer te horen als achtergrondzangeres!
