Enter Warren Haynes, a country/blues guitarist who'd been playing in Dickey Betts's band. "I'd always been a huge Allman Brothers fan and had met them ten years earlier," he said. "I was just planning a solo album when I got a call saying: 'We're putting The Allman Brothers back together. Would you like to join?' The positives all outweighed the negatives so I kinda jumped in with both feet." From the short-lived initial reunion lineup that included Johnny Neel very prominently on piano. A full six songs from Seven Turns plus Dickey's "The Blues Ain't Nothin" which was only played in '89 -'90. Here is an Allman Brothers Band concert from the CNE Grandstand in Toronto, Ontario on 8/24/1990. This set was recorded and broadcast by CHUM 104.5 FM in Toronto.
