For the first time ever, Harem Scarem's Mood Swings album is available now in this limited edition vinyl run! Harem Scarem was formed in 1987 by singer Harry Hess, guitarist Pete Lesperance and drummer Darren Smith. The name Harem Scarem was based on a Bugs Bunny cartoon. The initial Harem Scarem lineup was completed by Mike Gionet (bass). This lineup recorded a demo CD in 1990, which garnered them attention since most demos at the time would be on cassette tape only. On the strength of this demo they were signed to Warner Music and recorded their first album. The demo CD was initially sold to fans. In 1991, Harem Scarem released their self-titled debut album, which gave them their first top 10 hit with the single "Slowly Slipping Away". In 1993 the band released their second album Mood Swings. Mood Swings caused the band to gain popularity in Japan, and 30 years later Asia is still the bands biggest territory. From 1991 to 2020 the band has released 15 studio albums and has sold well over 1 million records Purple 180-gram audiophile LP Digital Bonus Content Access Card
