The Wages of Spin II continues to weave the narrative thread established with the acclaimed first instalment, Wages of Spin. The DVD explores the inner workings of the USA Recording Industry from 1979 to 1993, focusing on the relationships between the record labels, promo men, radio programmers, organized crime and the American Government.

The documentary also explores a Department of Justice investigation that was shut down by the DOJ hierarchy and the relationship between Ronald Reagan, MCA, members of Reagan's Cabinet and organized crime families.
