Diving Bell

EDITORIAL REVIEWS

CHROME GHOST'S, THE DIVING BELL, EFFORTLESSLY MARRY HEAVY & OPPRESSIVE MUSIC W/ BEAUTIFUL & INTROSPECTIVE PASSAGES.
Originally self-released digitally and via Transylvanian Recordings on cassette on November 30, 2019 and on vinyl via Seeing Red Records on March 27, 2020, Chrome Ghost's 2nd album 'The Diving Bell' was a revelation for the Doom genre and continues to be heralded as a masterwork. This will be the first time the album will be re-pressed on vinyl since the original sold out during the pre-order stages in 2020. The Diving Bell is a journey through deep and troubled waters, suffocated by anxiety and mesmerized by shimmering rays of light. This is Chrome Ghost at their most cinematic, with each song traveling through multiple movements, tied together by motifs and repeating phrases that develop as the track progresses. The band effortlessly marry heavy and oppressive music with beautiful and introspective passages.
