INTERITUS, a word of Latin origin, literally translates to ruin; violent/untimely death/extinction; destruction/dissolution; the perfect title to compliment the devastating force within. ESCARNIUM's goal with INTERITUS was to take their brand of traditional death metal to the deepest abysmal depths, both musically & conceptually, while maintaining the identity they've carved out with their earlier offerings. To aid in this, the band enlisted ABORTED's own, John Bart Van Der Wal, at Hewwetover Studios in the Netherlands to handle the mixing & mastering duties. With JB behind the board, INTERITUS explodes through the speakers like cannon blasts and artillery mortar fire! INTERITUS is ESCARNIUM's finest work to date. and like the album title suggests, exhibit caution while listening, or it may just lead to your own demise.
