Silvertones - Silvertone Avenue

The Silvertones, three-time winners of the Best Blues Award, have been rustling around Dallas since 1993. Itsprimarily blues, with hints of jazz, swing, rockabilly and rock-n-roll. Silvertone Avenue is their newest album. Thisis their fifth album overall and third with Deep South Productions. With all 13 original songs written by the variousband members, this album takes their music to a new dimension while keeping what they are best known for butalso balances that sound with the first time they have recorded any acoustic songs. Like all bands, The Silvertoneshave had several line-up changes through the years. The band now consists of Brian Wicker (bass), Randy Ball(drums), Leo De La Vega (guitar) and Rob Donavan (guitar).
