Millénaire

From the 77, HEVIUS made heavy metal. Archaeologists claim that the group would be indirectly descended from IRON MAIDEN, HELLOWEEN and STRATOVARIUS, but neo-historians would place it rather in line with FREEDOM CALL and GLORYHAMMER. From 2005 the first self-produced album "Derrière la Lumière" seduced the audience with its energetic but accessible rhythms, its strong melodic lines, its clear voice and its poetic lyrics sung in French. The group then skimmed the Parisian scenes and opened for Sabaton. After some line-up changes between 2008 and 2013, Hevius strengthened his Heavy Metal style and reinforces his mischievous side. In 2020, armed with his new album "Millenniaire", HEVIUS launches to conquer the French-speaking Metal scene! The album consists of 11 new tracks and 2 bonus tracks: -a very personal cover of "Vice et Versa" (LES UNKNOWNUS) -a re-recorded version of their flagship track "Nous êtes des Rois", released on their first album.
