Stefano Mainetti: Tempo Altro – Guitar Works (1977–2025

Tempo Altro brings Stefano Mainetti back to his original instrument and, in doing so, composes a fifteen-part self-portrait covering almost half a century, from 1977 to 2025. Works created for concerts, theatre, cinema and television, as well as new compositions and tracks from augmented music, converge in a guitarist universe where Iberian and Latin American roots intertwine with Italian song and personal memory. The project is not a simple retrospective collection, but the coherent representation of a poetics of reminiscence, formal brevity and tymbrical brilliance, in which the guitar again becomes a space of intimacy, narrative and contemporary invention.
