In this album, guitarist Antonino Ielo performs works by Franco-Armenian composer Laurent Boutros, including the Tryptic, the Caucasian Suite, the Three Armenian Popular Dances and Du haut de montagne. Inspired by Armenian, Oriental and Mediterranean traditions, Boutros' music mixes ancestral memory and contemporary expression. A true sound travel diary, the guitar becomes at home a bridge between cultures. This selection — mostly unpublished — explores the themes of exile, identity and belonging through a writing as personal as it is universal.
