Michael beschließt mit seiner Freundin Frances die Villa seiner Mutter zu besuchen. Am nächsten Tag trifft sein Regisseur in Begleitung der Schauspielerinnen Shirley und Beryl ein. Frances träumt, sie sei Opfer einer brutalen schwarzen Messe. Später findet sich Michael in den leidenschaftlichen Armen von Beryl wieder. Er erwacht und findet sie erstochen vor. Weitere Morde folgend und Michael glaubt, das er der Mörder ist. Dann erkennt er, das seine Mutter Glenda dafür verantwortlich ist und eine teuflische Kreatur mittels schwarzer Künste von ihr versklavt wird.
