Technology Is Lonely occupies the space in between the dancefloor and the living room. Meant more as an accompaniment to one's everyday existence, it still has it's hip shaking tendencies. Warm techno/house and ambient dub with introspective, often melancholic melodies allows Honig to explore his environment, thereby lending a hand to the listener doing the same. Though the means used are largely digital, the conclusion arrived at is organic, friendly, and human.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Except for a brief stint playing the violin at the age of 5, Ezekiel has had no formal musical training. After that failed attempt at virtuosity, his next hands on foray into the musical world came when he began DJing drum and bass in 1997. The next few years were spent immersed in the New York City drum and bass scene, playing gigs at home and elsewhere in the U.S., and keeping tabs on the latest tunes. Of course, Ezekiel has always been a bit restless and his musical tastes have always been numerous, so during his downslope out of the drum and bass world, he began experimenting with other genres in his production work, which was just getting started. He fostered his love for techno, house, and dub, while allowing his interest in drum and bass, jazz, indie rock, hip hop, ambient, etc. to guide him. After finishing his first album, Technology Is Lonely, he decided to go the DIY route and start his own record label, Anticipate Recordings, something he had been! thinking about doing for some time. For now, he's working on new material for a follow up album and looking forward to releasing varied music by varied artists on Anticipate.
