Sie sind eine der wenigen europäischen Formationen, die in einem genuinen Sinn "Weltmusik" machen und sich dabei einen eigenen Stil zugute halten dürfen. Die Spezialisten aus Spanien mischen kongolesische Rumba und kubanischen Son mit Flamenco, orientalischen und sogar keltischen Einflüssen. Ihre in Dur gestimmten Balladen geraten zu charmanten Popsongs mit Latin-Flair. Anders als etwa bei David Byrne wirkt ihre souveräne Adaption tropischer Rhythmen weder bemüht noch kopflastig. Das ist mediterraner Folk-Pop mit wahrhaft globalem Ansatz.
