Produced in 2002 at the Palace Theater in beautiful downtown Grapevine, Texas, Radio! The Musical was the first full length book musical to feature performances from bona fide local Radio personalities! With Radio partners News/Talk 820 WBAP under the auspices of Ops Manager Bob Shomper and (now defunct) Memories 96.7 with Program Director Gary Reynolds, a heartwarming snapshot of a struggling midwest radio station in the early 1990's was brought to life. Award winning Director Terri Hagar Scherer and A.D. Patsy Daussat realized the vision of creators Marshall Such and Stephen Taylor with a wonderful, well crafted staged production. Music Director Bruce Wermuth made the cast recording a success and the stage presentation special playing the lead character, Ted Wilson.
