Joe Jennings' (lead jerk from JJ & The Real Jerks) unleashes his newest project of scorching so-cal garage punk with Joe Jennings MVP's! Spending the first half his life growing up in suburban Detroit & the second half in Los Angeles, Joe acquired a taste for loud, straight ahead rock n' roll like The Stooges, MC5, X, The Buzzcocks, The Dead Boys & The Ramones. Recently relocated to Tucson Arizona, Joe teamed up with Matt Rendon of The Resonars/The Freezing Hands/The Lemon Drop Gang fame to write & record 11 brand new tracks at Rendon's Midtown Island studio. The results are a high-energy blast of raw power-pop infused garage rock n' roll fury. The newest single 'Doing Time on the Company Dime' is like a punk version of the Standells with a stomping post-chorus reminiscent of the Dictators. The full-length release 'Nothing Wrong with Giving Up' pays homage to four decades of rock n' roll decadence.
