Originally released in 1982 on the Accord label, 'Mystery Man' is a rare feature in the Leon Redbone discography. There were very few of these records pressed in first circulation. Redbone was championed by the likes of Bob Dylan for his love of pre rock and roll music, unique vocal talent and comedic onstage performances. This record holds a number of quirky folk and blues covers, paying homage to Blind Boy Fuller and Big Bill Broonzy.
